China will replace the U.S. as the country with the strongest economy by 2050. The U.S. will drop to second place

Threre are more reasons to migrate to Canada

Global warming will compel Indians to change the traditional targets of migration. However, Canada will remain a favourite choice even in 2050. Canada and Scandinavia to become ‘migration magnets’ as previously frozen assets become usable, predicts Professor Laurence Smith, a UCLA professor of geography and of earth and space sciences. Professor Smith predicts that China will replace the U.S. as the country with the strongest economy by 2050. The U.S. will drop to second place, followed by India.

Oil production in Canada will be the second biggest in the world, behind Saudi Arabia, while migration will make its population soar by 30 per cent.

Bad news for Indians

“In Chandigarh, in our consulate there, we have a `wall of shame’ with some examples of the thousands of fraudulent documents that are generated by this industry – fake marriage certificates, death certificates, travel itineraries, banking statements, you name it. There’s a pretty sophisticated industry that produces these kinds of documents.’’” says Candian Immigration Minister Jason Kenney.

“There was everything from Photoshopped pictures of brides and grooms with heads on other people’s bodies to fake letters of reference from MPs,” said Kenney.
