THANKLESS DMK GOVERNMENT
This DMK Government is sitting pretty in office because of the mercy of devendirars who voted and tilted the balance in favour of them in almost all constituencies. Yet, there is no reciprocation of any sort in return towards this Community by DMK. While Sakkiliars are called as Arunthathiars and Parayars as Adhi-Dravidars, we the Pallars are also referred to as Adhi-Dravidars instead of Devendra Kula Velalars by Mr.M.Karunanidhi. Justice. Ashok Kumar, the Devendirar , Lion has roared against the ADMK Government during the mid-night arrest of this Karunanidhi, when he was sitting in opposition Bench. When Kallars change their loyalty after each Election in favour of the winning side so as to reap maximum benefit, we remained steadfast as DMK loyalists forever.
The reservation of18% seats in both education and employment, is provided in the Indian Constitution for Scheduled Castes, mark it,”CASTES” and not to any particular” COMMUNITY”. Yet, this Man had the audacity to earmark 3% to Arunthathiars in clear violation of the constitutional provision. In the same way whether he will be able to earmark any percentage to a particular community under MBC or OBC? He will not do that because the retaliatory effect will boomerang on the Government itself.
There are 76 communities under the list of Scheduled castes, of which one of the communities is Adhi-Dravidars. This Man is sitting tight on a High Court judgment directing the Government to change the nomenclature from the present “Ministry for Adhi-dravidar Welfare” to any common name or to fall in line with the Union Government Policy. Similar requests of The National Commission for scheduled Castes and a letter from Mr.Pramod Kureel, the BSP MP were also put in cold storage by this great man.
Then, why should we support DMK any longer? All of us should spread this message to our people to pack the DMK lock, stock and barrel in the 2011 Election and throw away from the Government. Let this be a lesson to any Party which is coming to Power.
K.S.
