‘Shudra- The Rising’ is the first feature film

‘Shudra- The Rising’ is the first feature film on the menace of caste discrimination. The maker of the film has taken a great risk to expose the harsh realities of hidden apartheid in India. He must be congratulated for this venture. Initially this film was cleared from the Censor Board but some of the organisations in India objected to its screening. Now the Censor Board is playing in the hands of these organisations. So its screening has been postponed twice. We must support the film maker and ask for its early release so that everybody is able to see clear picture of our dark history.
